Magaziner Statement on Death of Brown University Shooting Suspect

December 19, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON, DC - Today, U.S. Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) released the following statement in response to reports that the suspected gunman in the Brown University shooting was found dead: “I want to express gratitude to all of the members of law enforcement who worked tirelessly to locate the now-deceased suspect in the Brown University shooting. While Brown and Rhode Island will never be the same, I hope that this new development can bring closure and help the process of healing. My heart continues to go out to the victims and their families. They will be in our hearts always.”
