Congressman Eric Sorensen Statement on Tragic Shooting in Minneapolis

Image August 27, 2025 Press Release Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17) issued the following statement after learning of the tragic shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church and School in Minneapolis. “I am having trouble finding the words to express my feelings learning that children are among the dead in the sanctuary of a Minneapolis church,” said Congressman Sorensen . “I have reached out to Bishop Malloy of the Rockford Diocese and Bishop Tylka of the Peoria Diocese to offer my condolences and support to every parishioner.
