Sen. Moran Applauds Nomination of Ryan Kriegshauser to be U.S. Attorney for Kansas
WASHINGTON
– U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) today released the following statement, applauding the nomination of Ryan Kriegshauser to be the United States Attorney for the District of Kansas:
“With an extensive record of service to his country, a deep understanding of the justice system and a principled commitment to upholding the rule of law, Ryan has demonstrated his qualifications for this role and his dedication to serving Kansas and our country. Ryan served as an intern in my Washington, D.C., office, and I know him to be someone who embodies the values and character of what it means to be a Kansan, raising his family in the state and investing in the community. I look forward to supporting Ryan’s nomination and am grateful for his willingness to serve Kansas and his commitment to justice. Congratulations to Ryan, his wife and their daughters.”
Prior to his role as a partner at Kriegshauser Ney Law Firm, Mr. Kriegshauser served as General Counsel at the Office of the Kansas Securities Commissioner and previously as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Office of Legal Counsel and Policy. Mr. Kriegshauser holds a B.A. and a J.D., graduating from Georgetown University and the University of Missouri at Kansas City. A Navy veteran of Afghanistan, Mr. Kriegshauser currently serves as an officer in the Navy Reserve.
