Rep. Dan Goldman Convenes Boro Park Leadership Roundtable With Elected Officials, Law Enforcement, and Community Groups to Address Rise in Antisemitic Incidents

Hosted at the office of Assemblymember Simcha Eichenstein, the roundtable focused on strengthening safety, enhancing federal-local coordination, and expanding support for community-based security efforts. Participants included Assemblymember Simcha Eichenstein, State Senator Sam Sutton, Councilmember Simcha Felder, District Leader Pinny Ringel, the New York Police Department (NYPD), Shomrim, Boro Park Jewish Community Council (BPJCC), the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), Agudath Israel, the Flatbush Jewish Community Coalition (FJCC), Council of Jewish Organization (COJO), The Sephardic Community Federation (SCF), and other key stakeholders. Following the roundtable, Congressman Goldman met with Holocaust survivors at Nachas Health to hear their stories and reaffirm his commitment to preserving their legacy and fighting antisemitism. “Antisemitism is an attack on the very fabric of our society,” Congressman Dan Goldman said. “We must confront it with unity, action, and sustained partnership at every level of government.” As Co-Chair of the House Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Antisemitism, Congressman Goldman has worked tirelessly across all levels of government to address the horrific rise in antisemitic incidents following the October 7th, 2023, terrorist attacks. This Spring, Congressman Goldman successfully urged the Trump administration to reverse its decision to freeze funds from the Non-Profit Security Grant Program, which synagogues and Jewish Community Centers use to make security upgrades. In January, Goldman joined Congressman Josh Gottheimer in introducing the bipartisan Holocaust Education and Antisemitism Lessons (HEAL) Act in the House, which would direct the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum to conduct a study on Holocaust education efforts in public schools nationwide. ### Issues : Civil Rights, LGBTQIA+ Rights, and Combating Hate In the District
