Statement from Rep. Vince Fong and Rep. David Valadao on Water Infrastructure Projects

Sisk Dam Raise and Reservoir Expansion Project and the Sites Reservoir Project received federal funding for enhanced storage capacity, which will provide greater reliability to California’s water supply. Rep. Vince Fong (CA-20) and Rep. David Valadao (CA-22) released the following statement in response. “As our need for water storage intensifies, it is critical that these two projects receive vital federal support: the B.F. Sisk Dam Raise and Reservoir Expansion Project and the Sites Reservoir Project. We will continue to work to make these investments to California water infrastructure projects that will help continue to expand our capability to store critical water supplies, which our farmers, industrial partners, and communities rely on. Storage is critical to ensuring reliable supply for the food production capital of our state and nation.”
