Rosen Statement on President Trump’s Unconstitutional Attempt to End Birthright Citizenship

WASHINGTON, D.C.– Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) issued the following statement after President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order attempting to end birthright citizenship in the United States, in violation of the U.S. Constitution.
“The Constitution is clear: if you are born in the United States, you are an American citizen,”said Senator Rosen.“Donald Trump’s attempt to take Americans’ birthright citizenship away is extreme, unconstitutional, and illegal. I will do everything in my power to protect Nevadans’ Constitutional rights.”
