Luján Appointed to the Board of the Institute of American Indian Arts

Santa Fe, N.M. – U.S. Senator Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.), a member of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, issued the following statement on being appointed to the Board of the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) by U.S. Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.): “As the Senator for New Mexico, and as the longtime U.S. Representative for IAIA’s home in Santa Fe, I’m honored to be appointed to this important leadership position.
