Rep. Cisneros Statement on LA County Wildfires

January 8, 2025 Press Release Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Gilbert R. Cisneros, Jr. released the following statement regarding the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles County: “I’m grateful to our firefighters and first responders as they work to combat the wildfires in Los Angeles County, and my thoughts are with all those who have been affected or displaced. I’m also thankful that California has secured Fire Management Assistance Grants (FMAG) from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to ensure vital resources are available for our local, state, and tribal agencies. My office continues to monitor the situation, including the Eaton fire that is neighboring the 31st District. It’s important that all Angelenos follow guidance from Los Angeles County and their local fire departments, and stand ready to evacuate.” ###
