WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE), a member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, voted to advance a package of bipartisan bills to fuel innovation and boost American energy production. Bills advanced yesterday include the Nuclear REFUEL Act , the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act , the Legacy Mine Cleanup Act , the Save Our Seas 2.0 Marine Debris Infrastructure Programs Reauthorization Act , and the Great Lakes Fishery Research Reauthorization Act . “ Despite the Schumer Shutdown, we’re continuing to deliver for the American people ,” said Senator Ricketts. “ This package of bipartisan bills will fuel innovation, boost American nuclear energy, and improve our recycling infrastructure. ”
