Rep. Ansari Celebrates Unanimous House Passage of Her Bipartisan “Billion Dollar Boondoggle” Act

WASHINGTON – Today, Representative Yassamin Ansari (AZ-03) celebrated the unanimous House passage of H.R. 1722, the Billion Dollar Boondoggle Act, bipartisan legislation she introduced with Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks to increase transparency and accountability for taxpayer-funded federal projects that are significantly over budget or behind schedule. “Our bill is a sensible, bipartisan measure to do what DOGE and Elon Musk failed to—hold the federal government accountable for projects that are way behind schedule and over budget,” said Rep.
