"Since the insurrection, Trump has continued to mislead the American people and belittle the law enforcement officers who bravely defended our Capitol. He has pardoned the rioters, empowering many of them to commit more crimes, and lied about his assault on democracy. "Yet America remains strong. As we mark 250 years of independence, our democratic experiment endures. The American people deserve better than the failures and broken promises of this administration.
