Senate Republicans Applaud Appointment of Senator Lisa Frizell to State Board of Equalization

Denver, CO — Senate Republicans welcomed the appointment of
Senator Lisa Frizell
to the
Colorado State Board of Equalization
. She succeeds former Senator Chris Hansen and will oversee property assessment quality and consistency to help ensure fairness in Colorado’s property tax system.

The State Board of Equalization reviews property tax assessment appeals and ensures consistency in property valuations across Colorado counties. The board serves as an important safeguard for homeowners, farmers, ranchers, and small businesses who depend on a fair and predictable property tax system.
