Larson (CT-01) released the following statement after UAW Local 379, representing nearly 240 members at Cummins - Jacobs Vehicle Systems in Bloomfield, went on strike . “I stand with the hard-working men and women of UAW Local 379 standing up for the pay, sick leave, and job security they rightfully deserve,” said Larson. “It was my honor to join their practice picket last week in Bloomfield, where UAW members sent Cummins management a clear message that they are serious and stand united against corporate greed. Soaring company profits are paying off for shareholders, while the workers who power these earnings are being left behind.
