ICYMI: Griffith Presents EoR to Bristol Virginia Swift Water Rescue Team

U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) visited the Bristol Virginia Fire Department in Bristol, Virginia, on Tuesday, May 27. Congressman Griffith presented the Department’s Swift Water Rescue Team with formal remarks entered into the Congressional Record. In the remarks, Congressman Griffith praises the Rescue Team for their efforts and services in response to recent storms that hit Southwest Virginia, including Tazewell County. Congressman Griffith issued the following statement: “Southwest Virginia is grateful for the Bristol Virginia Swift Water Rescue Team, which tallied more than 80 rescues in a span of 6 months. These rescues required responses in several localities, like Tazewell County.
