Release: REP. Khanna’s Statement on Oversight Subpoenaing Epstein Estate, SAYS the “pressure is Working”

August 25, 2025 Press Release Washington, DC — Representative Ro Khanna (CA-17), member of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and co-lead of the bipartisan Epstein Files Transparency Act , released the following statement on Chairman Comer issuing a subpoena to Jeffrey Epstein's estate: “The pressure is working. After I sent a letter to Jeffrey Epstein’s estate last month requesting a copy of the Epstein ‘birthday book,’ we received a response that indicated the estate would comply with a subpoena with redactions to protect the victims. Today, Chairman Comer subpoenaed the estate, including the birthday book. I will continue pushing for the full release of the Epstein files and justice for the survivors,” said Rep. Ro Khanna.
