President Trump's Executive Order to dismantle this department will eliminate bureaucracy and bring decision making one step closer to parents who best understand the needs of their children. Since 1979, the federal government has spent over trillions on the Department of Education with little to show in return. “I have been incredibly vocal in my support for eliminating the Department of Education,” said Rep.
