<p><strong>PALISADES PARK, NJ&nbsp;</strong>— Yesterday, January 6, 2025, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05) administered the oath of office for Palisades Park, NJ Councilman Charlie Shin.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Charlie was elected to the council for the first time and is ready to serve the people of Palisades Park with a passion that drives him to make a difference every day,”&nbsp;<strong>said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5).&nbsp;</strong>“Charlie has already served our great community on the Board of Education, working to improve our schools and education for all children. I can’t wait to see what else he does, and I know he will work hard to keep our residents safe, lower taxes, and make Palisades Park an even greater place to live.”</p>

<p>Gottheimer was joined by Assemblywoman Ellen Park, Assemblywoman Shama Haider, Bergen County Clerk John Hogan, Palisades Park Mayor Paul Kim, Palisades Park Councilman Jason Kim, Palisades Park Councilman Suk ‘‘John’’ Min, Palisades Park Councilman Michael Vietri, Palisades Park Councilwoman Christine Woon-Yoon, and Councilwoman Sang Lee.</p>
