Hoeven Statement in Observance of Independence Day

BISMARCK, N.D. – Senator John Hoeventoday issued the following statement in observance of Independence Day:
“As we commemorate nearly 250 years of independence, it is vital that we take time to remember the hard work and sacrifices that have been required to build this great nation. In particular, we extend our deep gratitude to our servicemembers, who have fought throughout the generations to preserve our freedom. The prosperity and liberty we enjoy is only possible due to the security that they have upheld. Mikey and I thank them, while wishing a happy and safe Fourth of July to all North Dakotans.”
