Rep. Crank Condemns Boulder Terrorist Attack, Votes for Passage of Rep. Evans Resolution
June 9, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON - Today, Rep. Jeff Crank (CO-05) voted to pass Rep. Gabe Evans' (CO-08) resolution condemning the terrorist attack in Boulder, Colorado. "The terrorist attack in Boulder was yet another strike against our Jewish community," said Rep. Crank. "I will not sit idly by as our friends are attacked for their religious and political beliefs. I am heartbroken for the victims and will always choose to condemn violence and hate. However, this tragedy could have been prevented. Governor Jared Polis and the Colorado Bureau of Investigations were on notice he was here illegally when he failed a background check to buy a gun, yet did nothing to notify ICE. Instead, they handed him a driver’s license. Colorado state lawmakers need to do better. It’s time to wake up." Background: Rep. Crank also co-sponsored Rep. Joe Neguse's (CO-02) resolution, condemning the attack. Watch as Rep. Crank condemns the Boulder terrorist attack and sanctuary policies below. ###
