Bacon Issues Statement on Reported Israel and Hamas Deal Washington, D.C. – Rep. Don Bacon (NE-02) issued the following statement regarding the reported agreement to a deal between Israel and Hamas: “We are all hopeful that the hostages still being held by Hamas will finally be released, which is long overdue. They have been abused, physically and mentally, and we need to get them home as soon as possible.  This reported agreement to the first step in President Trump’s peace agreement between Israel and Hamas is very welcome and celebrated.
