Tragic news about the loss of Mark and Lisa’s daughter Maddy after a long illness. Over the years I got to know Maddy and her sisters and I cannot imagine how difficult this is for them and Mark and Lisa. They were all there for her every step of the way.

From electric cars to solar panels to smartphones, we rely on critical minerals every day. Right now, China has a firm grasp on the global supply—putting our economic and national security at risk. I’m leading my bipartisan SECURE Minerals Act to change just that.

Our elections are ALREADY safe and secure. Republicans know that. But they also know that Americans are unhappy with their chaotic agenda. So instead of helping their constituents, they'd rather perpetuate lies about fraud to justify making it HARDER to vote them out of power.

Arizona already has universal school vouchers, and it’s led to wasted money and underfunded schools. Now, Congress plans to spend tens of billions of your tax dollars to take it nationwide. I’m fighting to stop this to protect public education and our kids’ futures.

With the administration making the work of public educators more and more difficult, I'm grateful for CSBA and ACSA’s steadfast leadership and commitment. I look forward to continuing to work with them to ensure every K-12 student has the opportunity to succeed.

While the ultra-rich get even richer, families are getting squeezed by a rigged economy. It's time for the government to stop listening to the richest of the rich and start working for working people.

Marylanders are paying over $4.00 per gallon of gas. Trump may have declared victory, but costs are still skyrocketing. The war he promised he'd never start is spiking the prices he promised to bring down. Betrayal all around. www.cnbc.com/2026/04/19/g...

I met with UFCW members from NJ and heard about the struggles they’re facing including rising grocery store prices, price gouging, and the need for better pay and benefits for union workers. No one should struggle to buy food or groceries, or take care of themselves and their loved ones.

Armenians do not waver in speaking truth to power and in fighting for justice. I joined ANCA and ARAMAC to recommit our fight in standing up to Azerbaijan's continued aggression, their efforts to erase Armenian culture and history, and insist on the release of Armenian POWs.

Words can’t describe the pain the Shreveport community must be feeling. Kids deserve to feel safe — especially at home — but gun violence continues to rob them of that freedom. We have to do more to stop it. Gabby and I are keeping the families of the victims in our thoughts.

The recent trades predicting U.S. military action minutes before it occurred are alarming and raise questions about who exactly is profiting from a war that has already resulted in untold death and destruction. We need answers. youtube.com/shorts/bDGnC...

I got an update from Mayor Ressler and Blooming Prairie officials about the work to rebuild Hwy 218. Every time a truck passed, we could feel the road shake. I'm glad we got them federal funding, but they still need more support. This highway is a critical corridor for Southern Minnesota.

Trump’s economy is ballooning costs for working families, but Montbello’s FreshLo Hub is an example of the power of organizing and uplifting a community. We won’t ever stop fighting for Colorado in Washington.

The President should work on making things cheaper like he promised to. Instead, he’s laser-focused on waging war and making it harder for you to vote.

Trump is actively making us less healthy, and setting us back when it comes to medical research and innovation. I don’t know anyone who thinks investing less in finding a cure for cancer is a good thing.

Sat down with Latino small business owners at Chilte in Phoenix. These are people who built something from nothing — and they're getting hit from every direction right now. Tariffs, rising costs, customers cutting back. They deserve leaders who show up and fight for them.

Once again, Trump is threatening war crimes against the Iranian people. All this could be avoided if Republicans in Congress joined us in voting to end this illegal and costly war. We will give them another chance this week. They must all be held accountable.

The President and his family don’t even try to hide their corruption. Last year alone, they made at least $1.4 billion through backroom deals and legal threats. And the American people are fed up.

Seeing this news is absolutely heartbreaking. No parent or family should have to experience this kind of loss, and no child should fear or face this kind of violence. As a father, this is gut-wrenching.

Congress has the tools to lower costs, rein in Pres. Trump’s cost-raising policies, & help working families get ahead. Republicans just need to join Democrats & the majority of Americans who are calling for immediate action to bring down prices & boost our economy.

So I’ve teamed up w/ colleagues on the Tariff Refunds for Working Families Act & @whitehouse.senate.gov’s Big Oil Windfall Profits Tax Act to redirect $ consumers are losing from Trump’s wars right back into the pockets of hardworking Americans.

Between Pres. Trump’s global trade war & his war in Iran, American consumers & businesses are dealing with higher costs & heavier financial burdens. At the same time, jobs are being lost by the millions & opportunity is sinking. I’m working to undo Trump’s damage.
