Cassidy Joins President Trump at White House, Applauds Effort to Modernize Health System to PUT Patients First

WASHINGTON –U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), chair of the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, joined President Trump at the White House promoting the administration’s new effort tomodernize our health care system, improving care for American patients. Cassidy was also joined at the event by U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Director Mehmet Oz.
“President Trump and I are aligned: it’s time to modernize our health care system to put patients first,”said Dr. Cassidy. “The administration’s new effort will deliver faster, smarter care to patients and reduce administrative burdens on providers. That’s Making America Healthy Again.”
