Cassidy Announces OVER $5.2 Million for Louisiana Airport Improvements FROM HIS Infrastructure LAW
WASHINGTON –U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $5,225,066.00 in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Funding comes through the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) and Cassidy’sInfrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).
“Airports connect our communities to the rest of the country and the world,”said Dr. Cassidy.“This investment makes Louisiana’s airports safer and more efficient.
The funding will support airport upgrades across Louisiana to extend the life of runways, improve safety, and modernize facilities.
