Crapo Statement on Chavez-DeRemer Confirmation

Washington, D.C.--U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) issued the following statement after the Senate confirmed, by a vote of 67-32, Lori Chavez-DeRemer to be Secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor:
“Lori Chavez-DeRemer will be a protector and advocate for the American worker.  When Representative Chavez-DeRemer and I met, she assured me she will respect Idaho’s and other states’ right to work laws.  Additionally, she will play a vital role in curbing the excesses of the previous Administration and unlock economic growth.”
