Bresnahan, House Authorize $68 Million for Tobyhanna Army Depot

January 6, 2026 Press Release WASHINGTON, DC: Today, U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) announced the House authorized $68 million in funding for Tobyhanna Army Depot in S. 1071, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026 (NDAA). “Tobyhanna Army Depot is a fundamental part of Northeastern Pennsylvania and our regional economy, supporting thousands of family-sustaining jobs while delivering mission-critical capabilities that keep our troops safe and our military ready,” said Rep. Bresnahan. “Our authorization of $68 million for Tobyhanna in the NDAA is a major win for Northeastern Pennsylvania and our national defense. This investment strengthens readiness, modernizes critical infrastructure, and provides long-term stability for the skilled civilian workforce that makes Tobyhanna a national asset. The $68 million for Tobyhanna is authorized under the domestic military construction and expansion section of the NDAA to expand Tobyhanna's radar test range. The House passed the NDAA on December 10, 2025, by a vote of 312-112, followed by the Senate’s passage on December 17, 2025, by a vote of 77-20.
