Congressman Cohen Announces $8.3 Million in Infrastructure Improvements for Memphis VA Medical Center

Weathers Veterans Administration Medical Center in Memphis will receive $8,302,004 in infrastructure improvements in the third quarter of this fiscal year. The funding includes upgrades of X-ray and MRI technologies, improvements to its food service capabilities and new roofs for Buildings 1, 1A, 5 and 7. Congressman Cohen, who introduced legislation to rename the medical center for the famed Tuskegee Airman in 2022, made the following statement: “Our veterans deserve the best.
