BREAKING: Exactly One Year Into Trump’s Second Term, New Report Shows Costs Have Skyrocketed for Nevada Families
WASHINGTON, DC –Anew reportreleased by the U.S. Congress’s Joint Economic Committee (JEC) shows that, in Donald Trump’s first year back in the White House, the average Nevada household spent an additional $1,565. The report, which uses the Bureau of Economic Analysis on household spending and the Consumer Price Index, also found that the average Nevada family paid an additional $187 in housing and $250 in transportation costs during Trump’s first year of his second term.
“The data is clear: Donald Trump’s reckless policies and tariffs have done nothing to lower costs for families in the last year,”said Senator Rosen.“In fact, the average Nevada family has paid over a thousand dollars more in the last year because of Trump’s cost-raising policies like tariffs. It’s unacceptable, and I’m going to keep fighting to lower costs by repealing Trump’s harmful policies.”
