September 11, 2026 Press Release Image LAS VEGAS, NV – Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) met with Special Olympics Nevada (SONV) and honored Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medalists from the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games with U.S. Congressional certificates. Image The Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. This gives them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community. Congresswoman Lee presented Congressional Certificates to Bowling medalists Reginald Daniel, and the family of Krystelle Rodriguez; Track & Field medalist Maxwell Hyderkhan; and Swimming participant Christine McCullough. Additional awardees included Bowling medalists Robert McClure, and Brittany Conatser; and Track & Field medalists Kiana Ocampo, Brandy Goodson, and Hyrum Knotts.
