Senate Passes Sen. Johnson’s Resolution Designating July as National Sarcoma Awareness Month

WASHINGTON
– Yesterday, the Senate passed U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson’s (R-Wis.) resolution designating July as National Sarcoma Awareness Month. The resolution raises awareness of sarcoma, a form of cancer, and honors the life of Melissa Locke and the many other Americans that this disease affects.
“I am pleased that my resolution passed the Senate in honor of Melissa Locke and the countless other Americans who have struggled with this life-threatening disease. I hope we can continue to increase awareness of this complex form of cancer that is diagnosed thousands of times each year,”
said Sen. Johnson.
