Capito Secures CDS Allocation for Lily’s Place

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), a leader on the Appropriations Committee, announced a Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) allocation for Lily’s Place in Huntington, W.Va. This funding will support the expansion of county-wide programming to address the health and wellbeing of first responders. This investment will provide the necessary resources to expand access to the programming through Lily’s Place for all police officers, firefighters, EMTs, 911 dispatchers, and family members in the Cabell County area. “Lily’s Place has supported countless families in West Virginia, and I am thrilled to bring these additional resources in to bolster their services.
