Image February 5, 2025 Press Release Washington, D.C. - Ranking Member of the MENA Subcommittee Cherfilus-McCormick issued the following statement on recent comments made regarding Gaza. “Our focus should be the release of all remaining Israeli hostages and these comments may sabotage the future stages of the ceasefire negotiations as well as embolden Hamas. We must work collaboratively with our regional partners to find a real day-after solution in Gaza, that ensures Israeli security and Palestinian self-determination.
