<p>Congressman <strong>Ritchie Torres</strong> (NY-15) has now officially introduced the <em>‘Homeland Operations and Unilateral Tactics Halting Incursions: Preventing Coordinated Subversion, Military Aggression and Lawless Levies Granting Rogue Operatives Unchecked Power’</em> Act, also known as the HOUTHI PC SMALL GROUP Act into the U.S. House. The legislation, <a href="https://www.axios.com/2025/03/26/signal-atlantic-goldberg-democrat-bill-torres">first reported on in Axios last month</a>, would “amend title 18, United States Code, to prohibit the communication of classified information on mobile or desktop messaging applications.”</p>
