It has been the honor of my life to serve alongside each of these dedicated public servants who wake up every single day ready to fight for working families and underrepresented communities and protect our fundamental civil rights. I am thrilled to celebrate my successor, Donna Miller, a proven public servant whose leadership on the Cook County Board and commitment to equity will serve the Second Congressional District well. Our state’s strength lies in its diversity, and as the congressional delegation carries this work forward, we remain dedicated to serving every community across Illinois. From the streets of Chicago to our rural communities, this delegation will continue putting people over politics to fight for the future every Illinoisan deserves." ###
