LaMonica McIver (NJ-10) released the following statement on the Republicans’ bad budget: “Republicans again put billionaires over the best interest of the American people. The bad budget they just passed will slash billions from Medicaid, gut food assistance, and sell out working families all while they give big money to billionaires. They’re hurting real people and they don’t care.” McIver represents New Jersey’s 10 th Congressional District. She is the first Black woman to represent NJ-10 and the youngest person ever elected to the United States House of Representatives to represent New Jersey.
