Values
Image June 1, 2026 Priorities Defending Faith, Family, & Life As your Representative, I will always advance policies that uphold the sanctity of life and strengthen the traditional American family. Since my first days in Congress, I have championed these priorities through legislation, oversight letters, amicus briefs, and direct advocacy on behalf of the values that define our beautiful state. As Chair of the Anti-Woke Caucus, I have led on the effort to expose divisive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and the explosion of radical gender ideologies that undermine national unity, confuse our children, and tear the American family apart. The elimination of DEI and radical gender theories throughout the agencies has been a top priority between the Trump administration and the 119th Congress. Our country will be stronger without the federal government pushing these divisive ideologies. Protecting Parental Rights and Women’s Sports Under President Donald Trump and a Republican Congress, we saw the end of a four-year assault on women’s sports and erosion of parental rights in education. Prior to President Trump’s triumphant return to the Oval Office, however, I championed efforts to block Biden-era policies that rewrote Title IX to replace “sex” with “gender identity.” These efforts were reaffirmed when that initiative to compromise women’s sports was ultimately blocked by a federal judge, underlining the importance of a reasonable judiciary. I defended women’s athletics by leading debate on legislation in the House Judiciary Committee to prohibit men from participating in female sports. I supported measures to federally criminalize the intentional performance of sex-rejecting procedures on minors. The removal of healthy body parts on a gender-dysmorphic minor is akin to conducting liposuction on an anorexic teen. Congress shall not normalize the affirmation of childhood dysphoria with sterilizing procedures that leave our young people permanently damaged. Congress must protect the rights of parents to determine what is in the best interests of their children. Last year, I introduced legislation requiring schools to notify parents and obtain written consent before conducting invasive surveys or physical examinations on students. I also introduced a bill allowing parents to take legal action if a school denies their right to review K–12 instructional materials, including surveys, questionnaires, and evaluations on sensitive topics. I have followed through on this fight in the courts by signing an amicus brief in Mahmoud v. Taylor supporting parents’ right to opt their children out of instruction that conflicts with their religious beliefs. The Supreme Court eventually ruled in favor of parents, providing a major victory for the rights of those who know their children best. Standing Up for Life Republicans’ signature legislation this Congress, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, temporarily blocked taxpayer funding for abortion providers and permanently expanded the Child Tax Credit to support growing families. This landmark law is the foundation for an aggressive pro-life agenda, standing up for those who need it most. I introduced a series of legislation this Congress to defend life, including a bill to revoke the tax-exempt status of organizations that perform or fund abortions, ending the forced taxpayer subsidization of this cruel and barbaric practice. I cosponsored the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, ensuring infants born alive after an attempted abortion receive the same legal protection and medical care as any newborn. I also support the Life at Conception Act, which affirms that unborn children are “persons” under the 14th Amendment and entitled to equal protection under the law. I hope the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will also heed congressional demands to reverse Biden-era rules allowing for mail-order abortions on demand. Abortion drugs now account for more than 60 percent of deliberate pregnancy terminations, and studies indicate as many as one in ten women experience adverse side effects. While Republicans were fighting for the unborn on Capitol Hill under the previous administration's policy agenda, the Justice Department abused the FACE Act to target pro-life activists. A recent investigation exposed federal prosecutors demanding more than twice the average sentence for pro-life defendants compared to pro-abortion defendants. The previous administration’s policies did not address sustained attacks on pregnancy resource centers in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade. I signed an amicus brief supporting First Choice Women’s Resource Centers’ right to protect sensitive patient information—an effort that was ultimately upheld in a unanimous U.S. Supreme Court decision. Representing Wyoming Values My faith in Jesus Christ and my belief in the inherent value of every human life has guided my work in Congress. This commitment is reflected across my three-year legislative record and recognitions, including top marks from the Christian Employers Alliance’s Biblical Business Index, a 100 percent rating from Family Research Council Action, and an A+ score from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America. I remain committed to strengthening and protecting Wyoming’s families while upholding these values to represent the people of our great state with dedication and integrity. I hope Americans everywhere will embrace these values as we celebrate our national pride in the summer of America’s 250th anniversary.
