The targets included Members of Congress, singled out for their support of Israel. This is a stark reminder that anti-Israel hatred has been far too normalized in our politics, with real and deadly consequences. Let me be clear: targeting Americans because of their support for the U.S.-Israel alliance stems from antisemitism, plain and simple. I commend the FBI and law enforcement for their swift action to disrupt this plot. As a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, I have requested an immediate classified briefing on the full scope of this case. Enough is enough. Political violence is not protest — it is terror. Every leader in every party must say so. The temperature must come down now.” ### Share on
