The People of Montgomery County Continue to Make Our District Stronger Every Day!
June 16, 2026 Blog Post Hello, it’s Congressman Matt Van Epps. I represent Tennessee’s Seventh Congressional District! Over the past several months, I have enjoyed visiting locations in Montgomery County! I have participated in a variety of events in Montgomery County and at Fort Campbell since coming to office. During Winter Storm Fern, I met with Clarksville-Montgomery County leadership and first responders to ensure they had everything they needed for recovery efforts. I also met with Manna Cafe’s director and the founder of YaiPak to learn about their Winter Storm Fern assistance efforts. I have also spent time with the business community of Montgomery County. I really enjoyed touring the historic Clarksville Foundry, participating in a Montgomery County economic development round table, and speaking at the Clarksville Industrial Association lunch. I made it a point to meet with veterans on multiple occasions, attending a Veterans Treatment Court graduation ceremony, the Montgomery County Tennessee Veterans Coalition meeting, and an event at American Legion Post 289. Lastly, on supporting the military community in Clarksville, I met with the Fort Campbell Garrison Commander, attended a retirement ceremony for a member of the 5th Special Forces Group, met with Fort Campbell AbilityOne Program leaders and clients, and had other meetings at Fort Campbell. Find out more about these visits here , here , here , here , here , here , here , here . Anyone who has ever been stationed at Fort Campbell can attest that the people of Montgomery County know how to make servicemembers feel at home. This is one of the most welcoming communities I have ever had the privilege of being a part of. On top of this, Montgomery County has it all. From the Cumberland River and great historic attractions to its community of artists, and some great food—Montgomery County has something for everyone to enjoy. “Congressman Van Epps is engaging, interested, and involved with the small, medium, and mega businesses in Montgomery County. We are so pleased that he is looking out for the smart growth of our community.” -Buck Dellinger, President/CEO, Clarksville-Montgomery County Economic Development Council Please reach out to my office with any questions or concerns at 202-225-2811.
