Rep. Fry Leads House in Blocking Bogus Democrat Impeachment

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Russell Fry (SC-07) took to the floor of the United States House of Representatives to lead the House in blocking a Democrat resolution to impeach President Trump. Fry’s motion to table the resolution ultimately killed the bill, stopping the effort and bringing it to an end. Rep. Fry released the following statement after the vote: “Democrats show over and over again that the only agenda they have is loving socialism and hating President Trump,” said Rep. Fry . “Thankfully, the Constitution doesn’t classify being hated by woke progressives as a high crime and misdemeanor. I rejected the Democrats’ nonsense impeachment resolution. Congress should be focused on American families and advancing President Trump’s America First agenda, not airing grievances because Democrats are still upset that they lost resoundingly in 2024.” Before Rep. Fry’s election to Congress, his predecessor voted to impeach President Trump in January 2021. Rep. Fry was sworn in as a member of the 118th Congress on January 3, 2023. The impeachment resolution failed in the U.S. House of Representatives by a vote of 232-147-7. ###
