Fischer Receives Equipment Manufacturers Champion of Industry Award

WASHINGTON – This week, U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-NE) received the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) Champion of Industry Award for her legislative work supporting American manufacturers. “Manufacturing is a cornerstone of the U.S. workforce and economy,” Fischer said. “I’m honored to receive this award again and proud of what we can accomplish when we work together. I’ll continue fighting in Congress for our manufacturers who lead the world in equipment innovation.” Fischer is the first legislator to receive the Champion of Industry Award twice, having first won the award in 2022 . According to AEM, Champion of the Industry award is reserved for one Republican and one Democrat from each legislative chamber who have championed legislation important to equipment manufacturers and have demonstrated a commitment to work across the aisle in support of common objectives. ###
