Cassidy Secures OVER $1.3 Billion for Louisiana in Funding Package Headed to President Trump’s DESK

WASHINGTON –U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) secured $1,323,770.00 for Louisiana in the Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development, Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, Defense, Financial Services and General Government, and National Security and Department of State appropriations bills for fiscal year 2026. This package is now headed to President Donald Trump’s desk for signature.
“We need better national security and a stronger, safer Louisiana. That’s what a $1.3 billion investment gets you,”said Dr. Cassidy.
