U.S. Senator Katie Britt Votes to Confirm U.S. Attorney Nominee Phil Williams

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.) today voted to confirm Phillip Williams, Jr., President Trump’s nominee to serve as the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama. Williams was confirmed en bloc by a vote of 46-43 in a nominations package. As a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Britt voted to advance Williams’ nomination out of committee earlier this year. “Today, I joined many of my Senate colleagues in voting to confirm President Trump’s nominee to serve as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama, Phil Williams.
