NEWS: Sanders Sworn into Fourth Term as United States Senator

WASHINGTON, Jan. 3 – Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) today issued the following statement after being sworn in to a fourth term in the United States Senate: “Let me thank the people of Vermont for sending me to Washington for a fourth term in the United States Senate. It is the honor of my life to represent you. There are enormous challenges facing us in such areas as health care, housing, a fair tax system, education, childcare, and climate change. I look forward to the work ahead and to getting around the state to meet with Vermonters from all walks of life.”
