Rep. Pfluger Statement on U.S. Airstrikes on Iran Nuclear Sites

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) released the following statement in response to President Trump’s announcement that the U.S. successfully completed an attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran. “Today, American airmen executed an operation at the direction of President Trump to eliminate Iranian nuclear facilities. I commend President Trump, the national security team, and the men and women who executed these orders on this successful mission. The Iranian regime is the largest sponsor of terrorism and the choice is now theirs….I hope they choose peace and a return to normalized society. But one thing is clear, they will not have a nuclear weapon”
