Warnock Statement on TPS Ruling

Today, Senator Reverend Warnock released the following statement: “Today’s Supreme Court decision is a devastating blow for hundreds of thousands of law-abiding immigrants who have built their lives and contributed to their communities in the United States as fathers, mothers, teachers, nurses, doctors, researchers, business owners, and more. The people of Haiti, particularly, are living through a profound humanitarian and political crisis that warrants protection and relief. The Court’s position fails to meet that moral imperative. And their refusal to acknowledge the President’s repeated racism towards Haitians adds insult to injury. Our TPS neighbors add to our country in every way, and this loss harms us all.”
