The DeSaulnier Digest: Advancing $46.7 Million in Funding for Projects in CA-10

It's why I am so excited to share that I submitted 20 projects totaling over $46.7 million to benefit CA-10 for consideration as part of the annual appropriations process. These projects will invest in safety and easing congestion for drivers, bikers, and pedestrians, bolster emergency preparedness across the region, address housing needs, and strengthen crime prevention. Image Mark Continues Public Safety Listening Tour in Orinda Congressman DeSaulnier joined the Orinda Police Department for a ride along through the city as part of his ongoing Public Safety Listening Tour. In addition to sharing the latest from Congress, Mark also highlighted the 20 local projects he recently advanced to receive federal funding through the appropriations process. ​​​​​​​ Image Congressman DeSaulnier Meets with Constituents in Walnut Creek Mark welcomed constituents to his Walnut Creek Office to discuss federal issues, including protecting human rights abroad, the forthcoming opening of the Service and Access for Everyone (SAFE) Center in Concord, and the urgent need to alleviate the cost burden of child care.​​​​​​​ Image COMMUNITY PROJECT FUNDING Healing and Justice for Labor Trafficking Survivors Project To improve the quality and scope of services provided to address and prevent cases of labor exploitation and human trafficking, Congressman DeSaulnier brought home $500,000 to the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office, allowing the office to increase its investigative capacity and better support victims.
