Cramer Announces More Than $4 Million in HHS Grants for North Dakota

BISMARCK, N.D. – The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded $4,343,280 to support health initiatives in North Dakota. U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced the following awards: $2,083,099 to HIT, Inc. to support Head Start projects. $1,197,667 to the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (NDHHS) for the Hospital Preparedness Program. $955,014 to the University of North Dakota for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Expansion and Growth of Comprehensive Suicide Prevention program. $107,500 to the NDHHS for efforts to improve adolescent health and well-being through school-based programs.
