Rep. Troy E. Nehls’ REMOVE Act Passes House Judiciary Committee

November 18, 2025 Press Release WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Troy E. Nehls (R-TX-22) announced his bill, H.R. 4711, the Rapid Expulsion of Migrant Offenders who Violate and Evade (REMOVE) Act , passed the House Judiciary Committee. The REMOVE Act would conclude removal proceedings for illegal aliens within 15 days after such proceedings are commenced. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) introduced the REMOVE Act in the United States Senate. “I’m extremely pleased that my bill, the REMOVE Act, was advanced by the House Judiciary Committee today,” said Congressman Nehls. “The Biden Administration let millions upon millions of illegal aliens into our country who wreaked havoc on our communities and drained public resources. My bill reduces barriers that drag on the removal proceedings of illegal aliens and equips the Trump Administration with the necessary tools to deliver on key promises President Trump made to the American people. Thank you to my Republican colleagues who supported this legislation, which will help President Trump deport illegal aliens at record speed.” Watch Congressman Nehls’ remarks on the REMOVE Act from the House Judiciary Committee markup HERE .
