HUNTSVILLE– U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) joined Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and members of the Alabama delegation for the unveiling of the sign at the new headquarters of U.S. Space Command (SPACECOM) at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Earlier this year, President Trump and Secretary Hegsethannouncedthey were relocating SPACECOM from Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Huntsville—reversing a Biden-era decision punishing Alabama by moving the new headquarters to Colorado.
“This is a great day for the world, for America, for Alabama, and for Huntsville,”Senator Tuberville said during the unveiling ceremony.“We want to have a state-of-the-art facility here that is going to protect America and its allies. And we want to do it the right way—and it will be done the right way. There wasn’t a better place for it.”
