Hoeven: FAA Awards Over $2 Million to Dickinson Airport

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded $2,425,000 from the Airport Improvement Grant (AIG) program to expand an existing aircraft rescue and firefighting building by 2,692 square feet to enhance safety at Dickinson Municipal Airport Authority. This grant will fund the final phase of construction.
“It’s vital that airports like Dickinson have the funding they need to help enhance safety and to continue meeting federal standards to support reliable air service for residents, businesses and emergency response needs across western North Dakota,” said Hoeven.
