I was in Dubois for the firefighters’ annual Buffalo Barbeque. “I attended the Wyoming Ag Hall of Fame in Douglas, Wyoming. We also celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the Wyoming Pioneer Association. They preserve our state’s rich history and heritage. “In Rawlins, we discussed the historic Republican investment in rural healthcare. These are improving care for patients all across the state. In Meeteetse, I attended the Pancake Breakfast and the Labor Day Parade. “All across Wyoming, people live by the Cowboy Code. We live each day with courage, we take pride in their work, and we do what needs to be done. “The people of Wyoming are proud of the progress our country is making under President Trump and Republicans. We want safe communities, a strong country, and a prosperous future. Republicans have been delivering that for the last two years. “Our border is now secure. The Biden policy of catch and release of criminals into our country is over. The largest tax increase in American history was stopped. Taxes on tips, on overtime, and on Social Security are gone. America is now energy dominant. The crooks and criminals who abuse Medicaid and food stamps are paying the price. Six hundred members of President Trump’s team are on the job. This is in spite of historic opposition from Democrats. Republicans torpedoed their obstruction. “People in Wyoming also shared with me their worries. They are concerned about what radical Democrat policies would do to them and to their families. Democrats across the country have laid out their manifesto. “The Democrat nominee in Minnesota claims Immigration and Customs Enforcement is evil. She vows to ‘rip ICE apart.’ “The Democrat nominee in Maine wants free healthcare for every single illegal immigrant. Democrats want it paid for with the tax dollars of hardworking American families. “The Democrat nominee in Florida is a card-carrying member of the radical Democratic Socialists of America. “The Democrat nominee in Texas says he would lay a welcome mat at our Southern Border. He also says men should play in women’s sports. “The Democrat nominee in Michigan wants to take away our guns. His campaign partner says America deserved the horrific terrorist attacks of September 11. Our nation just a few days ago commemorated the 25 th anniversary of that attack. We mourned the loss of nearly 3,000 Americans. “Democrats north, south, east, and west are running on this radical roadmap. They plan to take away private property and seize businesses. They want to rip away $50 billion from rural hospitals and from the patients who depend upon them. “Democrats will start taxing tips, overtime, and Social Security again. That is a direct tax increase on waiters, firefighters, and nurses. It is a direct tax increase on police officers, coal miners, and seniors. Why? To pay for healthcare for illegal immigrants. “The people I talked with don’t want taxes to be higher. The people I talked with don’t want men to play in women’s sports. The people I talked with don’t want to defund the police or defund the military. The people I talked with don’t want a welcome mat at our Southern Border. The people I talked with don’t want hardworking Americans to be forced to pay for healthcare for illegal immigrants. The people I talked with don’t believe that illegal immigrants should have the right to vote in American elections. “Many of the Democrats in this chamber and on the ballot this November believe in all of these things. Democrats today are radical. They are extreme. They are dangerous. And they are scary. “My Democrats colleagues in this very chamber have called these radical policies the future of their party.
